Hello!

“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.”

-Virginia Woolf

Hi! I'm Emma M, a recent graduate from Saint Joseph's University, a current Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist, and a Realtor. In college, I double minored in History and Art History, becoming a fanatic about the history of anything and everything. When I'm not buying and selling NJ, I'm busy in my kitchen trying not to make a fool out of myself (we can't all be Julia Child). As a history fanatic and an adventurous eater, it's hard not to be interested in how we ate in the past and how weird it is!  Cooking carries more history than we can imagine, and it is my honor to uncover it with you!

While everyone says that the kitchen is the heart of the house, I also believe it is the heart of history. I mean, what better way is there to relate to your predecessors than to eat as they did? Our mission is to relive and revive old recipes, trying anything from the 18th century to the 1970s. Together, we will wine and dine through the ages, get into the minds (and stomachs) of historical figures, and commit cooking atrocities. So, join me as we cook (and drink!) ourselves through history.
